Luxury Lodge Ownership

Lodges are fast becoming serious alternatives to the traditional bricks and mortar second homes. Apart from being up to half the price, they are far more environmentally acceptable to the local communities, and all the lodges now being built at Mullacott Park (as well as our two other sister parks) are built to building regs standard.

Since the park was acquired in September 2003, we have sold over 107 lodges, the early purchases having appreciated in value by up to 65%. Some owners have purchased merely for investment, whilst others only want to escape whenever they feel the need, but have the added security of knowing their home is located in a private gated community, with all maintenance being taken care of by ourselves.

There are several advantages to owning a lodge, the major ones being that they are not subject to capital gains tax or inheritance tax, surely a major consideration when buying a second home. They are also extremely low maintenance and the running costs are much less than a traditional cottage or apartment.
